Ōlelo Hawaiʻi – Hawaiian Language Lessons

Join us for an in-depth history of how the Hawaiian language, once an oral language, came to be a written language over time. Through these lessons, we hope to instill the importance of the Hawaiian language and the value that it brings to the culture of Hawaiian people.

E Ala Ē – A Greeting of the Sun

As the sun rises each morning, the Hawaiian people call on the rising of the sun to awaken from the deep ocean, climbing to the highest heavens. Providing enlightenment and prosperity for all of Hawaiʻi and her people. Held at Keoneopolo (Polo) Beach Monday through Friday at 6:55am.

Art, Culture & Chocolate with Dale Zarrella

Our renowned Artist in Residence, Dale Zarrella, delights in recounting the Maui myths and legends that are the inspiration behind his life-sized bronze and rare local wood sculptures. Join Dale's walking tour about the grounds of the resort while Dale, who has commissioned works for Popes at the Vatican, weaves his yarns. Indulge in Dale's homemade chocolates, shaped like mini honu (turtle) at the completion of the tour.  Tour held every Thursday at 10am.
