From December 25th through January 2nd, join us each evening at sunset in the Pilina Garden for a menorah lighting ceremony. This timeless tradition marks the festival of Hanukkah and invites guests to gather in the spirit of togetherness and reflection.
Pilina New Year's Eve Party
Ring in the New Year at Pilina, where you’ll enjoy exclusive access to intimate lounge seating paired with breathtaking ocean views. Enjoy a curated selection of festive refreshments, including a celebratory champagne toast, as you ring in the New Year with live local entertainment in the perfect setting. Savor the freshest sushi on Maui, masterfully prepared by our esteemed sushi chefs, for an unparalleled evening of exquisite flavors and festive celebration.
New Year's Day Brunch Buffet at Kō Restaurant
Start the New Year with family and friends at Kō Restaurant, where a decadent brunch awaits, set against breathtaking tropical views. Delight in a delicious selection of classic brunch favorites, fresh seafood, tropical fruits, indulgent pastries, and made-to-order specialties, all crafted to perfection. Tree of Hope
We are proud to host our 11th Annual Tree of Hope fundraiser in support of Maui Food Bank’s Aloha Backpack Buddies program, aimed at fighting food insecurity and helping Maui’s keiki (children) have access to nutritious meals throughout the holiday season and beyond. Gingerbread Ahupuaʻa of Palauea
In our lobby, we are delighted to unveil, for the first time ever, a gingerbread recreation of the ahupuaʻa of Palauea, the ancient land division upon which Fairmont Kea Lani rests. The one-of-a-kind masterpiece honors the traditional Hawaiian concept of the ahupuaʻa, symbolizing the vital connection between the mountains, land, and sea.
Hale Kukuna
Hale Kukuna, our cultural center, is located at the forefront of our newly transformed lobby, and offers an expansive, open-air space that invites guests to immerse themselves in Hawaiian culture, traditions, and values. Open to all who wish to form a respectful and meaningful connection to Hawaiʻi, the center showcases historical artifacts, a library of cultural books, and provides lessons on hula, lei making, ʻukulele, and more.
We welcome you to visit Hale Kukuna this holiday season and create meaningful connections with the culture, history and spirit of Maui – leaving with a deeper respect and love for this place we call home.
